  1. My Dearest Cousin Chila,
I do not have the words to describe what all of us who knew and LOVED you lost this past week...But I know that all of us and anyone who was fortunate enough to have you light up their lives, at one time or another, feels the emptiness of that loss. However, because of that gift of knowing you Chila, our lives have truly been touched by an Angel. If God was to leave us a true description of an Angel, you're picture with that beautiful smile would shine upon it.
For me Chila, you were my cousin, but you were also my friend. We shared an odd but special bond as youngsters, living and sharing our growing pains of being a little different than those of our relatives. And if not for you, I don't think I would have survived or wanted to. You were always there to let me know I wasn't alone and that you understood the feelings I held within me. And Chila, you were the only one!
I remember when you guys had to move to your new house from around the corner from ours. It was as if I had lost you and you had moved out of the country or something. At first, you and Greg would ride your bikes to the neighborhood for the day, but as with everything else, things changed with time and you both had met friends closer to your home and in your own neighborhood. But, during this time Greg gave me the biggest eye opener. He had decided to give up the G.I . Joe's for a basketball and football. Thus, I lost the only person I could trust to play right with my assortment of Joe's and their accessories.
It worked out better though for awhile anyway. One day as I was leaving your home, walking with my box of G.I. Joe's, I spotted you (and so did my Joe's), playing with your Barbie's. We took an about face and after that day I went often and though I always told everybody I was going to play with Greg, it was with you. We had the jeep and you had a 'vette I think. That too came to an abrupt end, and well we got shipped overseas. You could say we were shanghaied. But it was fun while it lasted.
Chila, I don't understand why God must take such a good person away so soon? I asked that same question about your brother not too long ago. And I truly am tired of the explanation, "God must have work for you elsewhere".
Well I hope so, because although you will never go forgotten, you will be greatly missed. I'm betting that Greg will put you to work right away and the two of you are planning a real nice get together up at the Ranch up in the sky, as you wait for us all to arrive.
God Bless You Both, I Love You and I Miss Your Smiles.......

    Love Always, Cousin Mark
